Hills & Valleys
By Patricia Britt
Seeing grief in fiction, and non-fiction is draining,
however every now, and then you have to look at evil to comprehend love. I saw the Ariel Castro sentencing broadcast, and
I had to see what these wonderful girls endured, and overcame sticking together
so they could be here, able to embrace the rest of their lives in the
mountains, and valleys of emotion they will inevitably feel. Michelle Knight,
Gina DeJesus, and Amanda Berry are brave individuals. God bless their destiny.
Watching this season in their life led me to consider females,
and young males, are in jeopardy by selfish individuals with no sense of
brotherhood that seek to enslave others in some form, or fashion, because they
can, through physical might. Sometimes it seems like young people can’t walk,
or run without encountering a demented stalker that wants to manipulate, and
take advantage of their purity, because their soul is empty?
Please be safe if you go online, or meet someone new in the
wish to find love, because bad people are getting better as masking their
intentions. Please take any precaution you can think of to start each new day,
by letting someone know where you’ll be, if you plan to explore new
surroundings.
School shooters, Ariel Castro, and the Boston Marathon bombers
wanted to disrupt the pursuit of happiness for all, and leave fear in their
wake. Ariel Castro emphasized he was a musician, church congregation member, and
a school bus driver to detail his deviousness. Then added he’s been watching the
girls on television to hurt them more by letting them know he’s still watching
them in an attempt to ruin their new lovely days in the sunshine? The Boston bombers
launched their plot, at a carefree event on a beautiful day among the annual crowd.
A creep’s sense of superiority can hurt one life, or many in order to have
their own way in spite of who it effects, and that’s evil. However, good will
always conquer evil, with love to envelope pain as it’s always been, expanding
exponentially.
Americans have seen a lot of national grief recently, but
love, and strength is at the center of our soul to carry us through the hills,
and valleys as we mend,
and remain united.
