CNN: Spiritual Mothers Words on Protests

Words From a Spiritual Mother on Nationwide Protests this Christmas Season
by Patricia Britt

The heroic Mayor Juliani says the heroic President Obama should speak out forcefully on the crime rate like he does on Trayvon Martin, and the Gates thing (www.theroot.com Henry Louis Gates PBS Many Rivers to Cross DVD) as he concedes that the President is doing some things right (6% unemployment) on CNN with Erin Burnett today.

CNN, and the parade of contributors on social situations should all be emphasizing overtly if not subliminally to young men, and women who are the pool from which America draws its military troops from that the true American democratic power comes from candidate education, and voting (i.e. Mayor de Blasio) in order to gain legitimate ground, and not loose significant rights the civil rights legends worked for and secured for a variety of groups, that allowed Thurgood Marshall the opportunity to become a Supreme Court Justice, Carlton Alphonso Ribiero to marry the woman of his choice, and win Dancing With the Stars, the climate created for Will Smith to become one of the biggest stars in the world, and produce movies such as After Earth, The Karate Kid, and Annie (support each other). There are so many other significant achievements gained through voting, however now the sky plane is the new destination.

President Obama's steady progressive work on the behalf of all Americans to raise the minimum wage for working families quality of existence must be acknowleged.

Today I heard Wolf Blitzer boldly ask a Cuban delegate will the Cuban people get paid for their labor vs the investments reaching just the pockets of the Castro brothers in the normalization of relations or semi-forgiveness per time, and actions. If Wolf can be so bold in international politics guided by his producers, why can't he be so bold to be fatherly more often, and emphasize the power of the vote for America's volunteers that are surely in the composition of the majority peaceful protesters in the CRowd that has been emotionally traumatized by hundreds of tragic events perhaps in the last decade.

It would be nice if the protesters marched in silence, and let their signs speak for them in the visual medium of the televised technological age to avoid misinterpretation, however there are times in humanity when humans wail after a loss of life.

As it's just as possible some of the police officers who turned their back on Mayor de Blasio may have, in their hearts been actually saying, "We've have your back," because time will only tell what positive changes you'll bring in your administration for the long run protection, and security of all citizens, and servants across this blessed country.

Wolf gets the big bucks, because he makes the powerful repetitive statements he believes in his heart have to be made. Our president says something to youth in every single respectful speech he makes, and there are sound bites for you to internalize in his words, and example of diplomacy to audiences who can only be viewed on CNN. Ralph Bunche, and Thurgood Marshall made many statements that should be quoted more often by all.

Harlem was a birthplace of melody, innovation, and harmony maybe the protesters, and authorities can mourn in unity in this blessed mysterious holiday season, and not go backward into tragedy?

Is there any chance David Dinkins (Wish I'd seen his book promotion on CNN), Senator Cory Booker, or Senator Bernie Sanders might have words of wisdom in the coming days that would benefit all parties, adding reason to the conversations that youth, and families gathered around a cozy living room tv set could say in spite of sadness I can see a better future for all of us. Then perhaps Joe Johns as a hard working reputable black man researcher, and reporter worthy to be emulated, might even contribute something to the conversation in a special about understanding the spectrum of facets of black men today as hunted prey, self doomed, misinterpreted images, standard setters, achievers, examples to emulate, and dominoes kings. Everyone needs to explore all the avenues to help everyone reach their potential, and provide reasons to strive to be their best.

We need to ponder more than what are the protesters going to do, where are they now, and where are they going. We need to ponder what noble citizens will they be in 2 years, 12 years, 19 years, 30 years, and beyond. Don't we?

What led Oprah to Selma, and the legends of civil rights event other than the spirit of wisdom, remembrance, and homage to a leadership trend that transcended souls.

May the spirit of love be with the spirit of truth.

Quote: Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall read volumes of words.

"None of us got where we are solely by pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps. We got here because somebody - a parent, a teacher, an Ivy League crony or a few nuns - bent down and helped us pick up our boots."
