Superbowl XLVIII was a runaway victory for the Seattle Seahawks 43 - 8 over the Denver Broncos. Quarterback Russell Wilson #3 led his team to victory with a phrase his father inspired, with "Why not us!"
Linebacker Malcolm Smith #53 was named MVP. Although Richard Sherman #25 was injured in the 4th quarter his efforts made a difference in the team making it to the Superbowl. Percy Harvin had a few memorable plays with lots of yardage.
The Seattle Seahawks is a young defensive team that overcame the odds, and won, with an average age of 26.
