Male Spiritual Rights of Passage ~ Reading List

Male Spiritual Rights of Passage
by Patricia Britt

Guys here's a short list of books to incorporate into your spirit especially for young black men, yet for all men in general.

The world is about repetition of good results. If at first you don’t succeed try try again. If you do succeed keep on keeping on, keep on climbing the mountain until you get to the top come back down and do it all over again. Say one mountain is math, another is science, and another technology, and so on.
See the  leadership books for a new age in this millinnium by our President Barack Obama, and spiritual leaders:
Dreams For My Father
The Audacity of Hope
of Thee I Sing
In addition I would strongly suggest "Spiritual Liberation" by Michael Bernard Beckwith & "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz, because everyone needs to explore their spiritual essence, or at least contemplate the soul through reading, and absorbing something good in these rapidly changing times to ground the soul since confusion is a given.
The Four Agreements is a short book with practical advice i.e. don't take anything personal, because words that sting you should bounce off, because the person who says them has an error in their mental programming, like a computer with a virus that replicates. Your main purpose is to operate your computer from the standpoint of love so that your spirit is ok even when others aren't. This is just one of the agreements. The simplicity of this book is somewhat similar to the simplicity of Maya Angelou's Wouldn't Take Nothing for My Journey for women.
Explore your metaphysical side to put on the armour of protection of your heart.
